How the packages work
Most places in Hanoi sell hair removal in blocks of 8 or 10 sessions. CHAMING sells time instead: a one-year, three-year or lifetime package for a given area, with no cap on the number of sessions inside that term and no enforced minimum gap between visits.
That matters because hair grows in cycles, and the number of sessions a body actually needs varies far more than a fixed block allows. If your hair needs eleven sessions in the first year, eleven sessions are included.
If you would rather try before committing, single sessions are available from 200,000₫ per area.
What results look like
Guests usually notice visibly thinner, slower regrowth from around the third session on underarms, and around the fourth on the bikini area. Coarser or hormone-driven hair takes longer.
Laser reduces hair; it does not guarantee that every follicle stops for good. Anyone promising total permanent removal is overselling. What is realistic is a large, lasting reduction with occasional top-ups — which is exactly why the packages are time-based.
Before your session
Two to four weeks before: stay out of strong sun on the area and skip self-tanner. Tanned skin holds more melanin, absorbs more of the laser's heat and burns more easily.
Also in that window: stop waxing, plucking and epilating. The laser needs the follicle root to be there; pulling the hair out removes the target. Shaving is fine — in fact it is required.
24 to 48 hours before: shave the area. Leaving long hair on the surface wastes energy on the shaft and can singe. Do not shave so close that you graze the skin.
On the day: come with clean skin and nothing on the area — no moisturiser, oil, perfume or deodorant. Wear something loose over the treated area.
After your session
Mild redness and a warm, prickly feeling for a few hours is normal. Keep the area cool, skip hot showers, saunas, swimming pools and the gym for about 48 hours.
Use sunscreen on any exposed treated area for the following weeks. Between sessions you can shave, but do not wax or pluck.

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the area and on your hair. Underarms commonly show clear thinning by the third session; bikini around the fourth; coarse or hormone-driven hair takes more. Because packages are time-based rather than session-based, you are not paying per extra visit.
Does it hurt?
Most guests describe it as a hot rubber-band snap, strongest on bone-close areas like the upper lip and bikini line. Sessions on small areas take only a few minutes.
Can I book if I have tanned recently?
Tell us before you come. Freshly tanned skin absorbs more laser energy and raises the risk of a burn, so we would rather move the appointment than treat skin that is not ready.
Do I need to shave beforehand?
Yes — 24 to 48 hours before, with a clean razor and no grazing. Do not wax or pluck for at least two weeks before, since that removes the follicle the laser needs to target.
Is this permanent?
It is a long-term reduction, not a guarantee that hair never returns. Expect a large, lasting drop in density with occasional top-up sessions — which the package term covers.
