Facials in Hanoi

Two quite different things get sold under the word facial: an hour designed to feel good, and a session designed to change something. These are the second kind — aimed at skin that is dehydrated, reactive or worn down by heat, air conditioning and city air.

Facial prices

Hydra Glow — hydration and glow590,000₫
Skin Balance — reactive, worn-down skin990,000₫

Prices are per session and pulled live from the same system Vietnamese-speaking guests see.

When your barrier is the problem

Skin that stings when products go on, flushes easily, feels tight after washing and looks dull no matter what you layer on it is usually not short of active ingredients. It is short of a working barrier.

Until that settles, stronger treatments tend to make things worse rather than faster. Getting the barrier back to a stable state first is the least glamorous part of any plan and the part that makes everything after it work.

What the sessions are

Hydra Glow is the lighter of the two: hydro-based cleansing and layered hydration, aimed at dehydration, dullness and skin that feels tight rather than oily. It suits a first visit, and it suits maintenance.

Skin Balance is the fuller session for reactive, over-worked skin — the kind left behind by too many actives, too much sun, or a run of treatments elsewhere. It works on calming and rebuilding rather than exfoliating.

Which one fits is decided after looking at your skin, not from a description on a page.

How often is sensible

Skin renews over roughly a month, so monthly is the usual rhythm for maintenance. Skin that is genuinely compromised is often seen more frequently for a short block, then spaced out.

Weekly facials indefinitely are rarely necessary and can leave the barrier worse than it started. Anywhere pushing that frequency without explaining why is selling capacity, not results.

Hanoi changes what your skin needs

Heat and humidity mean more sweat and more congestion, so people often need working sessions here that they never needed at home. Air conditioning does the opposite indoors, drying skin out across a working day.

The practical consequence is that a routine brought from a cooler, drier country usually needs adjusting rather than replacing — and that is part of what the consultation is for.

When a facial is the wrong answer

If your main problem is active inflamed acne, scarring or established melasma, a hydrating facial will feel pleasant and change very little. Those belong in their own courses, and we would rather say so at the consultation than sell you the wrong thing twice.

Questions we get asked

Which facial should I book first?

If you are unsure, book the consultation rather than a specific session. It is free, includes a skin scan, and takes five minutes to answer a question a webpage cannot.

Will my face be red afterwards?

These sessions are not extraction-heavy, so most people leave looking normal. If extraction is needed on the day, expect some pinkness for a few hours.

Can I have one before an event?

Yes, and a few days ahead is better than the day before, so any minor reaction has time to settle.

Do I need a course or is one session enough?

One session helps dehydrated skin look better for a week or two. Changing how your skin behaves takes a series — usually monthly, reviewed as it goes.
