Full face laser hair removal
Fine facial hair can stop make-up from looking smooth — treated gently, area by area.
Benefits
Targets hair follicles that are in their active growth phase.
Less need to deal with regrowth every few days.
With no more close shaving, fewer hairs curl back under the skin.
When is Full face laser hair removal a good fit?
Visible in the light, and makes foundation look less smooth.
Powder sits unevenly where there's a lot of fine hair.
With less fine hair, the skin reflects light more evenly.
Let CHAMING know in advance if: the skin in the area is sunburnt, has an open wound, or is inflamed or infected; you have recently waxed or plucked the area (it's best to let the hair grow back first); you are taking medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, or oral acne medication; or you are pregnant. If you have a skin condition, please see a dermatologist first.
What happens in a session?
- Checking the area
Your therapist looks at the fine hair on your cheeks and chin and the condition of your facial skin. If you have inflamed acne or are using targeted treatment products, let us know so CHAMING can take a careful look before deciding whether to go ahead.
- Cleansing, shaving and eye protection
Your therapist removes any make-up and moisturiser and shaves the fine hair in the treatment area, so there's no need to shave at home. Your eyes are then covered for protection throughout the treatment.
- Gentle treatment, area by area
Your therapist moves the cooled handpiece over your cheeks, chin and other areas with fine hair, one at a time, at a lower energy level than on the body, as facial skin is thinner. If any spot feels sensitive, just say so and your therapist will adjust.
- Soothing the facial skin
After treatment, your therapist soothes the treated areas of your face and checks your skin again before the session ends.
- Aftercare advice and your next appointment
Your therapist explains how to care for your face in the first few hours and books your next session. Hair grows in cycles, so you'll need a full course; the number of sessions depends on the area and your body.
Aftercare
For the first 2 hours after your session: don't wash your face yet, and keep the treated area dry.
For the first 24 hours: don't use any cosmetics on the treated area, including cleanser, moisturiser or make-up.
Throughout the course: never shave, wax, pluck or use hair removal cream at home on the facial areas being treated, as this can easily cause inflammation, infection or irritation. CHAMING will shave the treatment area for you at every session. For men having beard hair removed: between sessions you may shave with an electric shaver, but don't use a razor, pluck or wax; you still don't need to shave before a session, as your therapist will do it on the spot. Come to your next appointment as scheduled to get the best results from your course.
If your skin reacts or anything doesn't feel right, message us on WhatsApp or call +84 925 055 555 so CHAMING can help promptly.
Frequently asked questions
How many sessions will I need?
Hair grows in cycles, so each session can only reach the follicles that are in their active growth phase — which is why the treatment is done as a course, with sessions a few weeks apart. The exact number of sessions depends on the area, your body and how thick the hair is; CHAMING will discuss this after seeing the area in person.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe it as a light flick of a rubber band. Thinner skin is more sensitive; just say so straight away and your therapist will adjust the energy level.
How should I prepare for a session?
You don't need to shave yourself: your CHAMING therapist will cleanse and shave the treatment area right before the session. Beforehand, simply avoid waxing, plucking, or applying cream or deodorant to the area, and stay out of the sun for a few days.
Is it OK for thin facial skin?
The face is treated at a lower energy level than the body. If you have inflamed acne or are using targeted treatment products, let us know beforehand so CHAMING can check your skin before deciding.
The information on this page is for reference. Your exact plan is adjusted after a skin analysis and an in-person assessment.
