When is Laser hair removal — full body a good fit?
Rather than booking each area separately.
Combine them into a single plan.
Let CHAMING know in advance if: the skin in the area is sunburnt, has an open wound, or is inflamed or infected; you have recently waxed or plucked the area (it's best to let the hair grow back first); you are taking medication that makes your skin sensitive to light, or oral acne medication; or you are pregnant. If you have a skin condition, please see a dermatologist first.
What happens in a session?
- Checking the area
Before your first session, CHAMING goes through the specific areas included in your package with you. At each session, your therapist checks the skin and hair on the areas being treated that day.
- Cleansing and shaving the treatment areas
Your therapist cleanses, dries and shaves the areas being treated in that session, so there's no need to shave at home.
- Treating one area at a time
Your therapist moves the cooled handpiece over each area in turn. Thinner skin tends to be more sensitive, so just say so and your therapist will adjust the energy level for that area.
- Soothing the skin
Once all the areas are done, your therapist soothes and checks the skin on each one before the session ends.
- Aftercare advice and scheduling your next session
Your therapist explains how to care for your skin at home and books your next session. If you'd like several areas done in one session, let us know in advance so CHAMING can schedule it properly, as that session will take longer.
Aftercare
For the first 2 hours after your session: don't shower yet, and keep the treated areas dry.
For the first 24 hours: don't apply shower gel, lotion, body moisturiser or intimate wash to the treated areas.
Throughout the course: never shave, wax, pluck or use hair removal cream at home on the areas being treated, as this can easily cause inflammation, infection or irritation. CHAMING will shave the treatment area for you at every session. Come to your next appointment as scheduled to get the best results from your course.

Frequently asked questions
How many sessions will I need?
Hair grows in cycles, so each session can only reach the follicles that are in their active growth phase — which is why the treatment is done as a course, with sessions a few weeks apart. The exact number of sessions depends on the area, your body and how thick the hair is; CHAMING will discuss this after seeing the area in person.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe it as a light flick of a rubber band. Thinner skin is more sensitive; just say so straight away and your therapist will adjust the energy level.
How should I prepare for a session?
You don't need to shave yourself: your CHAMING therapist will cleanse and shave the treatment area right before the session. Beforehand, simply avoid waxing, plucking, or applying cream or deodorant to the area, and stay out of the sun for a few days.
Which areas does full body include?
This is an all-inclusive full body package, so the price is fixed and doesn't go up with the number of areas you have done. CHAMING will go through the specific list of areas with you before your first session.
Can I have several areas done in one session?
Yes, but each session will take longer. It's best to let us know in advance so CHAMING can schedule it properly.
