When is Skin Bright a good fit?
You want to improve your overall skin tone.
Uneven pigmentation in several areas.
Please see a dermatologist first if: you are taking oral acne medication or stopped less than 6 months ago; your skin is infected or has fluid-filled bumps or blisters; you have an open wound or recent sunburn; you have had a peel, laser or microneedling in the past 2 weeks; or inflamed acne is spreading and very painful. Let CHAMING know in advance if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What happens in a session?
- Skin analysis and consultation
Our doctor analyses your skin, looking at dull areas, brown spots and dark patches. Melasma needs to be seen in person, as there are several types with different causes.
- Make-up removal, cleansing and disinfection
Your therapist removes your make-up, then cleanses and disinfects your skin to prepare for the meso step.
- Meso to deliver brightening actives
The doctor delivers brightening actives into the skin using a meso technique, focusing on brown spots, dark patches and uneven pigmentation. Just say straight away if you feel uncomfortable.
- Soothing mask
Your therapist applies a soothing, hydrating mask so your skin feels more comfortable after the meso step.
- Aftercare advice and your next appointment
The doctor explains how to care for your skin tonight and over the next 3 days, reminds you to be strict about sun protection and books the next session of your course.
Aftercare
Tonight: wash your face with clean, filtered water. Disinfect your skin with an antiseptic solution for 1 minute, then wipe it off with saline solution. Apply a thin layer of hydrating or repairing serum, or the tube of moisturiser CHAMING gives you.
For the next 3 days, morning and evening: wash your face with cleanser, then wipe with saline solution; in the evening, remember to use make-up remover first. Apply hydrating or repairing serum, or the tube of moisturiser from CHAMING. Apply sunscreen in the morning and at midday, starting 24 hours after your session. Limit activities that make you sweat a lot, and don't wear make-up. Drink plenty of water and use extra nourishing face masks for better results.
During the first week: pause active products such as retinol, AHA, BHA and other retinoids.

Nano Brightening is a foundation-level brightening session. Skin Bright is a more in-depth course for pigmentation concerns.

There are several types of melasma, with different causes. Let CHAMING see your skin in person; for complex cases, you'll be advised to see a dermatologist.
What should I keep in mind after a session?
