Acnes Micropoint
Delivers oil-control actives to the right layer of the skin using a micropoint technique.
Benefits
Delivers actives to the exact layer of skin that needs them.
Works locally on the problem areas.
When is Acnes Micropoint a good fit?
Clogging and inflammation that keep coming back.
You want the actives to reach deeper.
Please see a dermatologist first if: you are taking oral acne medication or stopped less than 6 months ago; your skin is infected or has fluid-filled bumps or blisters; you have an open wound or recent sunburn; you have had a peel, laser or microneedling in the past 2 weeks; or inflamed acne is spreading and very painful. Let CHAMING know in advance if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What happens in a session?
- Skin analysis and consultation
Our doctor analyses your skin, checking oiliness, clogging and inflamed spots to choose the areas to work on. Severely inflamed areas need to be seen by a dermatologist before treatment.
- Cleansing and disinfection
Make-up removal and cleansing, followed by thorough disinfection of the area to be treated, ready for the micropoint step.
- Delivering oil-control actives with micropoint
The doctor uses the micropoint technique to deliver oil-control actives to the exact layer of skin that needs them. You'll feel a slight prickling; the doctor adjusts to your feedback.
- Soothing the skin
Your therapist soothes the treated area to ease the prickling and reduce redness before you leave.
- Home care advice and your next appointment
The doctor explains how to care for your skin tonight and during the first week, then books the next session in your course.
Aftercare
Tonight: rinse your face with clean water. Pat an antiseptic solution onto your skin, leave it for 1 minute, then wipe it off with saline. Then apply a thin layer of hydrating or repairing serum, or the tube of moisturiser CHAMING gives you.
For the next 3 days: wash your face with a cleanser morning and evening, using make-up remover first in the evening. Wipe with saline, then apply hydrating or repairing serum, or the tube of moisturiser CHAMING gives you. Wait 24 hours after your session before applying sunscreen; apply it in the morning and reapply at midday. Don't wear make-up, and limit activities that make you sweat a lot.
During the first week: pause active treatment products such as AHA, BHA, retinol and retinoids. Drink plenty of water, and you can also use a hydrating mask to support the results of your session.
If your skin reacts or anything doesn't feel right, message us on WhatsApp or call +84 925 055 555 so CHAMING can help promptly.
