Please see a dermatologist first if: you are taking oral acne medication or stopped less than 6 months ago; your skin is infected or has fluid-filled bumps or blisters; you have an open wound or recent sunburn; you have had a peel, laser or microneedling in the past 2 weeks; or inflamed acne is spreading and very painful. Let CHAMING know in advance if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What happens in a session?
- Skin analysis and consultation
We analyse your skin to check dryness, smoothness and dullness, then recommend a recovery approach that suits your skin.
- Make-up removal, cleansing and disinfection
Your therapist removes your make-up, washes your face and disinfects your skin to prepare for the meso step.
- Meso to restore skin quality
The doctor delivers active ingredients into the right layer of the skin's structure using a meso technique, rather than applying them on top and waiting for them to absorb. Just say straight away if you feel uncomfortable.
- Soothing mask
Your therapist applies a soothing, hydrating mask so your skin feels more comfortable after the meso step.
- Home care advice
The doctor explains how to care for your skin tonight and over the next 3 days, and which products to pause during the first week.
Aftercare
Tonight: wash your face with clean, filtered water. Disinfect your skin with an antiseptic solution for 1 minute, then wipe it off with saline solution. Apply a thin layer of hydrating or repairing serum, or the tube of moisturiser CHAMING gives you.
For the next 3 days, morning and evening: wash your face with cleanser, then wipe with saline solution; in the evening, remember to use make-up remover first. Apply hydrating or repairing serum, or the tube of moisturiser from CHAMING. Apply sunscreen in the morning and at midday, starting 24 hours after your session. Limit activities that make you sweat a lot, and don't wear make-up. Drink plenty of water and use extra nourishing face masks for better results.
During the first week: pause active products such as retinol, AHA, BHA and other retinoids.
