Jalupro started in 2004 from the research of an Italian physician, Franco Conti, on the role of amino acids in the skin. Today it is run by Professional Derma SA in Lugano, Switzerland.
Its injectables pair a cluster of amino acids with hyaluronic acid. The company names glycine, proline and lysine as the amino acids collagen relies on, and describes its injectables as 'amino acid replacement therapy' for collagen stimulation.
Jalupro makes four injectables: Classic, for body skin, scars and hair; HMW, for the face, neck, hands and lips; Young Eye, for the area around the eyes; and Super Hydro. We offer Super Hydro.
Jalupro describes Super Hydro as offering 'deep connective tissue support especially facial ligament support for a good facial structure and lifting maintenance'. It combines the amino acid cluster with a high-viscosity product that gives the ligaments mechanical support.
The maker aims it at facial structure and lift, not hydration alone. Say what you want to change and the doctor will tell you if Super Hydro fits.
Jalupro's public pages give no course. The one study we found used three sessions a month apart. The doctor sets your number after looking at your face, and you know the total before the first session.
We found one published study of Jalupro Superhydro: a 2025 retrospective, single-centre study of 43 adults aged 35 to 65 (Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology). The product was injected deep into the facial ligaments, in three sessions a month apart. Participants and investigators rated the result well three months after the last session, and mild swelling was the only side effect reported.
There was no control group, the group was small, the product was supplied by its maker, and the authors say larger studies are needed. The maker also calls its treatments clinically tested and keeps its research summaries in the section for professionals.
